the local DNR have given us no trouble as of yet.been stopped and "worked over" several times by different ones and never had that problem.not to say that i wont.it is possible i guess.as usual it is just another "grey area" that could be twisted several ways.I'll cross that bridge when i get there....

cant bird hunt during gun season here either.

The first ingredients should be animal based protein, chicken, beef, turkey, fish etc and preferably a "meal". If the first ingredients is something like "chicken" it should be backed by an animal protein meal because ingredients are listed by weight and "chicken" is 70% water before it is processe...

I have a hard time understanding the purpose of having a bird dog in a "bird dog" trial just to see how fast and far it can go. go get some grey hounds and a rabbit,it would make more sense.JMO So, you don't think that endurance, grit and heart, handle and nose have anything to do with being a hunt...

Oh, and I think top NSTRA dogs are great, Neil because they are,as is the top dogs that run in any venue.I hope to have a top dog in NSTRA someday myself.
