Thanks squirrel hunter
Thanks for the tip squirrel hunter but I am seriously considering having my female fixed after this litter. She is 7 years old and of the 10 pups I had 2 days ago I only have 5 left which is not disappointing in the bigger sense because I really only wanted 1 for myself but I am not sure why they ar...

Reminton 1100 barrel wanted
I just traded for an older model Remington 1100 with a plain barrel and a fixed modified choke. I was wondering if anyone might tell me the dirt cheapest place to get a replacement barrel with the Remchoke system and chokes that is ribbed. Thank you.

thanks highcotton
Thanks "highcotton" I was afraid of that I have been looking but only see them in 12 gauge. I got mine from a dealer in Massachusets for $225 in about 97% condition. The only blemish is the really shiny blueing that Weatherby uses has started to fade a little on the bottom of the barrel next to the ...

weatherby 82 semi auto shotgun
Just wondering if anyone knows if Weatherby ever made the 82A in a 20 gauge model and where I could get one and how much one might cost? I have a 12 gauge and really like it and would like a 20 to go with it. Thanks

Condor more like Buzzard
I bought a Condor 20 gauge with 26" barrels on it and just traded it for a Remington 1100 12 gauge because I couldnt hit a darn thing with it. Maybe operator error but I shoot all my other shotguns pretty well. When I first bought it new off the shelf I had to have Gander Mountain send it back to Be...

I apologize to all you gentlemen for seeming to have such a snippy attitude. I really do not and probably took your constructive criticisms wrong. Both the dogs I bred are not only my hunting dogs but they are household pets as well. They live in the house with my fiance and myself not in a kennel o...

answer for poster "bird"
For the poster "bird" no sir I am not getting a kick out of this and did not know I would cause such an uproar. I simply wanted to get the opinions of some fellow bird hunters. I did not realize there were so many field trialers and breeders on this site who would get so upset and for that I apologi...

Reply to crossbreeding post
Well I guess that was an overwhelming no from everyone. Fact is both parents are fantastic dogs and the dam is 7 years old so I wanted a good hunting pup out of her before she got too old to have pups and I have tried to breed her to another English Setter 3 times none of which took even though the ...

cross breeding dogs
I was just wondering what you guys thought about cross breeding dogs to get what you want? I have an Elhew pointer and a Tekoa Mountain Sunrise setter that I just had 10 pups out of and both mother and father are fantastic hunters with the father pointing deads and the mother a natural retriever but...
