Re: 2013 NGSPA Invitational
Chance of snow on sunday but only maybe an inch or so, fri and sat basically just cold with highs in the teens. I would assume most of the participants are already there or will be there sometime today as it starts tomorrow so no turning back now.

Re: 2013 NGSPA Invitational
Its going to be tough on all but especially the judges as they are the only ones that have to ride every brace. My guess is it will be a pretty small gallery watching each brace and thats a shame as this type of event with the caliber of dogs should be fun to watch. The cold air is one thing that yo...

I hope everyone brings warm cloths as the highs towards the end of the week are only supposed to be in the low to mid twenties and lows in the single digits, but that's the upper Midwest for ya. Good luck to all.

Re: 2xNFC BDK's Chloe's Jax of All Trades
Yes like Brooks said it is the same Allie, this year was her first real season on the trial circuit and with BDK as it turned out to be a pretty good one with a couple 4 and 5 point major wins and placements. I never ran her as a puppy derby in any trials so she was kinda late getting on the circuit...

Nice job to both you and your dog, ya always remember that first trial, that first time running a dog off horseback but most importantly that first win.

After having shorthairs all my life and trialing my buddy got me my first English pointer (CLK'S FIRST EDITION), I think I'm hooked after taking him to a trial in Wisc and winning the open derby at 7 mo of age. He is an Erins Braveheart son and a good one at that. I just may have to get another ray ...

This trial every year is probably the toughest weekend trial in the country to get a placement with all the Pros and number of quality dogs competing. Any placement in this trial is well earned with some stakes as big as 40 to 60 dogs competing in each as I don't think thier was any stake less than ...

That's what I would do, run the orange and white pups in some trials, thats really going to help the breed. Im sure you will get a ton of placements from allot of judges. GSP Field Trialers Question Postby ElhewPointer » Wed Oct 24, 2012 9:05 am Just wondering what the GSP people's opinion is on a question I have. My only suggestion other than whats above is take care of your judges during the trial, to many times they ride hard all day and people forget to bring them a drink or snack thruought the day. If you take care of them they will take care of you and you will probably get them back again if you need t...

I would think thier would be a better time for this event, December in Iowa or just south of the border can be bitter cold at that time with last year being an exception.
