Re: Looking for a good llewellin puppy need breeder advice

Just an observation, but our last three dogs were end of litter pups aged 12 to 14 weeks. Absolutely a breeze to housebreak and work with them. I attribute that to the extra time with mom and family before going to their new home

Welcome. Nice to have you here. I retired as an Evidence Technician in the Duluth, MN Crime Scene Unit 3 years ago. Retired in time for a leg to get gamier all the time and my aim adversely affected, but I still like getting out with the dog after some grouse and pheasant. Best wishes to you and Lunar

Welcome Granite 7. Hope there's enough cooperative weather for you and your dog to get out some more. Had hoped to chase some grouse with a young fellow and his boy today, but a blizzard rolled through Wednesday and bitter cold on its tail today. Between the cold and drifts, this might be the end of...

As a leg gets gimpier year by year, my shooting has been hampered (not that I've ever been that great a shot). Met with my oldest and youngest brother for our yearly hunt in SW MN late October. Winter had been in near full force and the conditions were cold, snowy and windy. Nevertheless, we should ...

I find it interesting in the MN game synopsis, it cautions not to accidentally shoot a wolf thinking it is a coyote (an unprotected species). The caution is due to the expansion of the wolf population far outside the north woods. I hunt pheasants down near St. Cloud, and my farmer friend has seen th...

I certainly see Ezzy's point, but have to agree with CJ. Both parents are pointers; I suspect the pups will be gifts or sold unregistered; and would expect the pups to take on the traits of the parents. I have to think there would be many folks interested in such pups
