I have hunted with both,and the recoil diffrence is very slight.There is nothing wrong with a 28,but I wont own another.You are just giving twice as much for shells with no benefit.

I have had a 410 for a few years and haven't had any trouble with it.Unlike most of the expensive guns,it has a frame built to scale,not 410 barrels hanging on a 20 gauge frame.It's a pretty sweet,streamlined little gun,I've put down birds with it.

Go back and read the first post on page 4 by Wa Chukar Hunter stating as to what the rules of the field dog stud book say is a Llewellin setter,and then think about how DNA testing of your pups parents match this criteria.I didn't make the rules.
