I have the TEK and it seems to operate just fine .. But what I like most about it is its simple to operate...as far as the customer service they are second to none dealt with them for the last 10 years

all depends on the birds if they are pen raised birds I think the garden hose will be a little much ...if you want the birds to get out a little more go with a ribbon or surveyers tape just play with the size till you get what your looking for.. I have used hose but only with pigeons

I always start by putting a half dozen young pen raised quail ..I put the birds all together the bring in the pup i let him catch eat, chace... anything he want to with the birds first time

he bayer is 1.47% imidacloprid K9 ADVANTIX IS 8.7% most guys are using 9 cc's on a 50pound dog but so far 6 is working well for me ....the cattle tag I cut in strips four strips to the tag then use zip tie's to fasten to collar ... I also keep a few hanging around the kennel

works for fleas well but not so much on tics... for tics ive been using the cattle tags '' I use 6cc's of the bayer every 30 days on my full grown setter and 3cc's on my 30 pound setter they are bug free

I was recently in the market as you are for a E/T collar I have a few friends with the alpha and a buddy with a SD TEK so I got to play with both ...and let me say both are solid units and worked well for me none better then the other ... I chose the TEK only because it did everything the alpha did ...

I also picked up a tube of the safe-guard10%..the way I read it is two clicks or marks for every 250lbs of horse or one mark or click for every 250lbs of cattle ...so I was thinking I should be at 1/4 of a click for a 50 pound dog.....someone correct me if i'm wrong

nothing wrong with what your doing in my eye's.. keep it up just go slow ..I start the suitcase method at 8 weeks just for a minute or two a night while watching tv ..as he gets older it will become more formal that's when the pinch collar come in
