Wow
That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Wouldn't take many getures like this to develop a whole new generation of younger hunters!

But she is a pet store dog. We have had a long tough row to hoe. I thought I had lost her reg. paperwork, so I don't even know her background. (Am sending out her reg. soon so I will get to see her pedigree)This season has been our first real consistent bird contact. I am going to start running her ...

I am currently feeding Pro plan Sensitive skin and stomach. Really good food. Also had success with Nature's Recipe Venison and Rice (can you tell my dog has sensitive skin). I have used the nutro ven&rice as well as the fish and potato, as well as the normal lg breed with good sucess. Smokey's coat...

I have read his book and ran into similiar problems. You need an extra set of hands. But if you read back into some of the other chapters he explains things better (I thought)
It also sounds like when he releases the bird he's not trying to keep the dog on point, just keep it from catching the bird.

Might also depend on what you want, its easier to develop a nice hunting companion than it is a great trial dog, ev...

Hello, My name is Jeremy and I'm addicted to weims
Just wanted to introduce myself and my dog. I have a 2 and a half yr old female weim which is my first gun/birddog. We have struggled together and are finally getting thru all that and finding birds. Here are a couple of pics of my "family"; http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd143/Huntinweim/th_PB1...
