I know they wouldn't be to code where I live. But, do it yourself and who knows.
My question is dog hair. Any problem with dog hair clogging it up? How long have you had your barrel in the ground?

How many of you trail ride with your horses?
Just curious if anyone pleasure rides beside just using them for FT's. Once upon a time we had 3 that we trail rode. 2 Arabs and a 1/2 Arab/quarter. Had a lot of fun but work forced me out of it due to lack of time. They are a lot of fun and once in your blood hard to get out.

6 different people will give you 6 different suggestions. Pick a training program and stick as closely as possible to it. Experience is sometimes the best teacher in this instance. Keep killing them for him and pretty soon wounded or not he will be sailing out on land or water and snatching them up for you. I would imagine it won't be long before he would prefer to chase after a wounded goose than a dead one. Believe i...

Have the dog sterilized because generally this is passed on from the mother but it is also hereditary. It's not the mites that are bad its the immune system of the dog. Some dogs, as they mature, their immune system matures as well and they can fight this off on their own. Others, never will have a...

As said above it's not a breed.
The people that are doing this with poodles and labs are not even remotely interested in whether either dog was a good hunting dog or not. All they are seeing is dollar signs.
I wouldn't even waste my time thinking about one.

I went through that with my two pups. Ivermectin is the best treatment. My vet went through a Dr at K-State and she suggested 60 days on Ivermectin with a skin scrape at the end of 60. Then, if negative another 60 days of treatment just to be on the safe side. Get your Ivermectin at Tractor Supply C...

First thing you should do is get enrolled in a hunter education class so that you will be able to obtain a hunting license and learn about gun safety. Complete that and you will be well on your way.

Drop using the sticks. Make her water retrieves short at first. Maybe just far enough she can wade out to pick up the bumper. Each day gradually lengthen the water retrieves starting where you left off the day before. Only a few retrieves each day. Leave her wanting to retrieve more.

I wouldn't travel any distance to hunt KS this year. I certainly would not pass over Montana, ND or SD to come here. It's going to be quite some time before we even begin to see a recovery. And the quai, we have some. But again, I would not travel far to come hunt them here either.
