Dave........In unison the Board owes you (for you last post) and many others for theirs, a sincere thank you. We have covered a huge amount of controversial issues during this thread........And we have all done it respectfully. Your last post will be reread by me many times. And I hope others reread...

This thread has been enormously interesting for many reasons. Each of the predominate writers have made valuable, insightful points. If our FT "sport" is to continue and thrive, we have to admit, understand, clarify and bring visibility to the great gulf of confusion between Gun Dog, All Age and Sho...

Thanks for the link Phil. Nice looking web site. I was stunned when I realized that the number of dogs entered was 21. To be clear, 21 darn fine dogs and winning it was a tremedous challange and an extraordinay accomplishment. Congrats again to you, Bill, Jen, Sean and one very good dog NAGDC FC AFC...

Just my opinion....But it is a dang shame that this event does not receive the same internet visibilty that the Nationals do in Eureka. I have searched all over the net and (except for the preliminary info on the GSPCA web site) there seems not to be one word about results or even running order.

I have not slept since I saw that photo. I have continual nightmares about the Nursing Home letting me out for a day of "leisure."

Virgil.........If I move there......you have an open "invite." I know the frustration you feel about dog friendly areas and training grounds.

Interesting..............I have been kind of zeroing in on the area formed by the triangle of Kansas City, Omaha and Des Moines, if the MidWest is to be the location.

I am a little surprised that there are not more people enthusiastic about the Southeast.

All great points. But again Dave has zeroed in on really important issues. From the midwest you can easily get to Eureka. With just a small effort you can get to Booneville. In looking at the AKC trial schedule for the last couple years, there is a FT almost every weekend (in season) within about 30...

Thanks. So far from these three replies the suggestion of Washington State as a hunting mecca is consistant with my thoughts which also included Idaho. But Dave' point is "well taken." That seems to be the hot spot for GSPs right now and the extended past. Looking back at historical travel routes ta...

Where To Live???

I hope this generates a few good responses. I have finally retired and have a great opportunity now to move anywhere in country to live. My main interests are GSPs/Field Trials and horses. It is impossible to visit or consider all the possible places based on input only from what can be gleaned on t...
