Anyone ever rode their dogs from a jeep? I'm thinking of setting up one off the front bumper of my jeep as we can't run atv's in our WMA's here. Any sugestions on what type of harness(leather, brand, etc) and size(by lbs or measurments). My female is 64 lbs(she really needs to run) and my male is 50...

Start around daybreak and quit around 11am, It's usually starting to get hot at that time here in Fl.

I had a Qualcom sat phone with Gobalstar service, used it back when I worked offshore. You could buy blocks of minutes or pay monthy for x amount. Sometimes had to wait 10-15 minutes for it to lock in but I was always able to call home. Worth having IMO.

I'm horrified to hear that some people remove ticks with their fingers. You should NEVER remove a tick with your fingers because even the slightest pressure on the ticks body can expel the disease carrying saliva from the tick into the dog. I use my fingers or if it's small, a pair of tweezers.

I tried some once.
Launcher threw em about 12 ft straight up and they fell 12ft straight down, stunned.

Many commercial processors are hesitant to take them because of disease. Pseudorabies and brucellosis are both found in feral hogs. The meat is virtually unusable on large boars. Fl. yes plugs for upland, waterfowl, and migratory. 5 shot limit for lg game.
We shoot (at) deer in front of dogs, lot more fun than sitting in a tree and harvesting them, more sporting too imo.

We have a hog problem here.. I shoot, trap, catch, and sometimes cut(castrate), mark, and release( to make a barr hog). Most of the rank boars we shoot and let lay, or if I don't want to mess with dragging them out of a food plot, just gut shoot them. Once they are established you'll never be rid of...
