I've used several different products including Perfect Coat. But, I've found the Hartz Puppy Shampoo as good as any. Jasmine scent, purple color, cheap. It's a mild shampoo with a mild scent. Can be found most anywhere.

Received a free sample pack recently. Some friends told me it was good stuff if your dog experienced stomach upset due to change of foods or being on meds. Tried it out recently when one of my dogs had to take antibiotics. She seemed fine, though maybe she wouldn't have had a reaction either way.

The puppy food has more calories but the regular food is in a form that you get more weight in a cup. So I would say the puppy is the richest and the regular is more dense. I've got an appointment this afternoon to have the ear drained. Drainage is $15, surgery is $175 + another $80 for anesthesia. So, it's worth a try for the cost difference.

My Southern States stores sell this food for $13.99 per 40lb bag. Never tried it though as it isn't the most convenient place for me to go and purchase food. They have different varieties with higher percentages of protein and fat, and different order of ingredients.
