We use the off the shelf 3% peroxide to do the test for raw meat. It eats the raw product til its gone. Read the MSDS It is NOT a good idea to swallow this stuff, yes you will vomit but damage is going on. Again, this is a standard procedure. Peroxide will NOT dissolve a dog's stomach. If it did, v...

Poor girl. I understand that the muscle/ soft tissue heeling is way more painful then the bone. My older Hound tore her CCL and had TPLO surgery two years ago. For what it is worth...my 2 cents on dealing with a pup who has had surgery. I went through this last year. 1. Crate your pup. Even while crated mine ripped internal sutures and had to have a 2nd surgery. Not fun. 2. If she is really excitable, ask the vet for sedatives. Acepromazine works wonders. ...

Just socks! The breeder told me that Max's mom used to steal her socks and drop them into the ex-pen with the pups. Shoes too. He steals shoes and other objects of clothing but only eats the socks. Amazing how fast the lil bugger can swallow them.

No--- Lyme's vacs are not 100% effective -- there are 2 companies that produce them. The Merial vaccine, I believe, is 90% effective. I spoke to a lymes researcher here last year about this and he recommended I vaccinate due to the high prevalence in this area.
