His pic looks fine. You are usually safe if you can see at least 2 of the back ribs. As far as food, I feed Loyall 31-20 to my 4 1/2 month old pup, shes pudgy :mrgreen:

The way I have been told to "linebreed" is that the sire of the sire, is the grand-sire of the dam. Stick with that and you should be fine. You also find some American FT blood behind a couple of KS DK's. For a short time a few select dogs were allowed to be used as studs. I understand all of this, but the simple fact is that if you go back far enough you see KS titles on the foundation of our dog's, plain and simple.

I am to the opinion that the dogs of today are better than the dogs of yesterday...... I don't find myself looking all that far back, I think anything that is worth breeding would be better than the original foundation. I really do think todays dogs are much more athletic, more attractive to the ey...

Ok, so I know up to 1998 or so, Uodibar's Boss Man was #2 FC Sire behind Dixieland's Rusty. But hasn't Boss Man been passed by Clown yet? Just curious, I want all my info correct and am not sure where to find this out.

I've never thought phez was hard to hunt. I grew up in Cal, and hunted rice fields and cheks. Always had a dog to hold point on the bird so it didn't run. I would say Chukar is the hardest to hunt. Since moving to Utah, I've hunted Chukar a hand full of times and will say their habitat is difficult ...
