Wincey, I like the idea of breeding to eliminate the flagging also, however if it is to the detriment of the actual game and bird finding instinct, that would be something I would not want to see. I heard the same thing about SMCNA, its actually a good thing in reality, these are German versatile hunting dogs and should remain that way, in my opinion. AKC would do them no good at all.
