At night he is in the crate from 10:30pm - 5:30 am (latest 6am). He goes back in at 7:45 am and I am home by 12:15/12:30pm. I put him back in around 1:15/1:130pm and take him out by 5pm ish. Give it time,caution the youngster as nobody wants to have a child bit by a pup. Let the kids offer treats once in awhile, maybe even let kids put food in the food bowl. If it is metal it will rust, I got some high dollar kennels from baumguards but the part where them dogs pee is rusted off now, only been 6 years. Next time Iwill put the kennel up on cement blocks to lift it up.
