Re: Closed Breed Field Trials
I dont understand closing trials either unless its a specific breed championship but weekend trials should be open to all breeds. If I was looking for a breed of dog and went to an open trial I could see just how different breeds compete and judge for myself what I like between them. Bitttney and Vi...

Has anyone ever used these and what did you think of them. I was just wondering how they worked as I thought about getting some for my trial dogs if it worked for hydration and endurance on hot days.

Re: NGSPA Great Plains Championship
By the way, my dog didn't fair real well as he was too busy chasing coyotes instead of pointing birds as their were plenty of cyotes to chase, lets just say his brain at the time was the size of a microscopic piece of gnat crap. I did have the honor of watching and judging some great shooting dogs t...

NGSPA Great Plains Championship
The NGSPA Great Plains Championship was held this last week in Elk City Ks on the Westfall ranch. The championship was originally sched to be on the Westfall ranch in Browning Mo but due to very wet conditions of the grounds it was moved to Elk City. After a long week of riding and watching dogs I h...

I have raised 3 sets of littermates and kept a male and female from each litter, still currently have two sets and I have had zero problems with any of them. I keep them kenneled side by side and they have traveled all across the country to trials with no issues. What I have found is they seem to ha...

I used to feed black gold all the time and used the blue bag for my trial dogs, paid about $25 a bag but as time went on the price went up and it was tougher to get. I have since fed Pazazz dog food for over a year now and love it and get it for about $ 22 a bag, but I also by a ton at a time.

Ran at allot of shorthair trials on these grounds, that interstate is intimidating when your running dogs right along it. It's tough to find dog haulers that head to the west coast, thier are a ton that go east but very few that go west. I like the idea they pick up and drop off door to door that saves time and money. I may look into them down the road instead of having to fly one as these airline prices are all over t...

If you want cheap then its not for you, as around here it is $ 35 plus a bag. I tried it a while back but all my shorthairs had very loose stools on it no matter what level or how much I fed. Now some people swear by it and it works for them so who knows maybe your dog would do well on it.
