Has anyone ever used these and what did you think of them. I was just wondering how they worked as I thought about getting some for my trial dogs if it worked for hydration and endurance on hot days.

I used to feed black gold all the time and used the blue bag for my trial dogs, paid about $25 a bag but as time went on the price went up and it was tougher to get. I have since fed Pazazz dog food for over a year now and love it and get it for about $ 22 a bag, but I also by a ton at a time.

Depends on what you are looking for and how far back they are in the pedigree. I saw Clown many times at trials and in the sand hills and still the only GSP to win the AA nationals 3 years in a row. If you want cheap then its not for you, as around here it is $ 35 plus a bag. I tried it a while back but all my shorthairs had very loose stools on it no matter what level or how much I fed. Now some people swear by it and it works for them so who knows maybe your dog would do well on it.

If it is an NGSPA championship than they can not limit it to any number I believe, unless they call it a classic and OLGD. They may have limited the weekend trial but they cant for the championship.

Thanks, not the Chief I was thinking of. Thier was Clown son called Chief ( Happy Havens Geronimo ) that Paltani used to run that I had a daughter of, so was just curios. Anyway from what I here both dogs did a nice job in the championship.
