I just said Kennel everytime i put my brittany puppy in it (he was about 3months old when i got him). After about 3-4 times he got the idea. Now i just say "Kennel" and heads right for it....Kennel trained in about two days.

No. The CZ Bobwhite is a SxS. I've looked at the Benelli's. I'd probably go with an M2 w/24". But i have a semi-auto 12ga.

Im not real concerned about weight. Im young, in good shape. A 7lb O/U isnt going to hurt me. I was just drawn to the simplicity and price of the Ruger.

While i'm sure the Berettas are nice guns, they are out of my price range.

Honestly if i cant find a Red Label in person i wont buy one. I need to see how it feels. Probably just go with a Bobwhite and save the cash.

The Ups Store (you know the one that cant ship it) should have rifle boxes. I'd just box it up and pack it real good (old news papers, foam peanuts, whatever)

Dont go to a UPS store. Go to the main shipping warehouse.

For whatever reason the privately owned Ups "Stores" can ship firearms. Heck they wouldnt even let me ship a 10/22 barrel.

(do NOT go to a gunshop, they will charge you out the...you know what)

I've found with my Britt that if i keep his nails short all the time he wont dig. As soon as they start getting long, he starts to dig.

Thanks for the info guys. I plan on camping out when i go grouse and partridge hunting next season, and i need all the advice i can get.

Of course this summer will be a bunch of trial campouts and scouting trips. I can wait.

Another thing I like to do is cook and freeze a lot of food before I go, chill and stews, it keeps other stuff cold in the cooler which saves space that is usually taken up by ice and you just need to heat it up for meals, very little preparation time.
