Sounds like submissive behavior...I bet it stops as time goes on. I wouldn't get excited in front of the pup or try anything that would scare just push the pup away and say "no".

If you try aggressive correction it could make the dog act even more submissive.

How much you need to feed is a reflection of the quality, including the nutritional levels and the quality of the ingredients and processing. we currently feed my 2.5 yo brittany 2 cups twice a day. He is in good condition and around 45 lbs. my parents want to feed what the bag says which is an additional 1/2 c each serving. If this dog is aggressively biting then you should give the dog back to the breeder.
It could be play biting and mouthing but you have described something different.

Well socialized puppies don't act this way.

Dogs like Sardines..Sardines make them happy..Happy dogs are better than sad dogs.

At least that is the way I look at it.

Treats with coconut fat provide quick energy because of the nature of the fat, so that is a nice treat too.

No reason to be a Grinch with them for a midday snack.

Did you change foods to something with a smaller kibble? Dogs eat smaller kibbles much faster than larger kibbles.

Fiber in an older dog is important. What doesn't get mentioned is that water soluble fiber helps reduce stress on the liver and heart and stabilizes blood sugar.

I bring a can of sardines to give during lunch...seems to brighten them up. Costco has big cans in olive oil. I think the prepared supplements are overpriced. I don't think you can do better than sardines frankly.

I don't feed before, no AM feeding.
