It isn't a sticky because, due to some quirk of the way Grant customized the software, I can't make anything a sticky even though I have super moderator and most admin privileges.

Yes, that's exactly my definition of "benching". And I was talking about "benching" for posting about religion or politics. If someone gets tossed, that's not what they got tossed for.

I think you'd be better off looking for a sire and dam with the qualities that you're looking for.

Drooling is a well-known symptom of stress/anxiety in dogs.

My advice, as always, is to look at the breeder and breeding rather than the breed.

The TN approach sounds rational on the face of it. Landowners, family and 10 "designees" can kill hogs. Hunters deer hunting on WMAs can kill hogs. Otherwise, no hunting of them. IOW, take the profit out of it and make it expensive to get caught importing them.

I don't think anyone is questioning the need to lower the numbers of feral hogs, just debating about how to best do it.

Feral hogs multiply rapidly. That cat is already out of the bag. I don't think not bringing them into the state is going to help. Just off the top of my head, you'd be better off trying to kill and trap as many of the rascals as possible.

I'll sell them for $0.05 ea if you'll take all that I have....I'd have to count them, but we're talking about like a couple of bushels.

You need to find out the price it will bring as scrap, too. I did some brief looking around here: http://www.scrapmonster.com/scrap-prices/scrap-metals/Yellow-Brass-scraps/26 . I'm not sure if I'm getting it right, but looks like over $2 per pound. Reminds me that I have a bunch of once fired 20 AAs...
