Re: How did you come up with your kennel name?

As a poor kid growing up in the South I would pick cotton for extra money. Picking "high cotton" was a lot easier on your back because you could pick it standing upright. Because of that fact "high cotton" has always had a special meaning to me. High Cotton Kennel is located in what is still a major...

I have 3 SKB's that I use for 90% of my shooting and training. The people in Omaha are nice to deal with and still have a lot of parts. We should be able to keep our guns running for several years. No more SKB's

The SKB factory in Japan has closed it's doors. Parts will still be available from the U.S. importer (Guns Unlimited in Omaha) for all SKB models for an estimated 10 year period.

I have long thought that SKB and Miroku were the best value out there in double guns. I hate to see them go.

I was blessed with a body chemistry that attracts ticks and chiggers. On group outings I am often the only one who gets ticks. One thing I have found that helps a lot is to use heavy rubber bungee cords in place of chains between the roading harness and the metal arm of the roading rig. It lessens the "jerk" the dog gets when turning or roading in rough trerrain.
