The SKB factory in Japan has closed it's doors. Parts will still be available from the U.S. importer (Guns Unlimited in Omaha) for all SKB models for an estimated 10 year period.

One thing I have found that helps a lot is to use heavy rubber bungee cords in place of chains between the roading harness and the metal arm of the roading rig. It lessens the "jerk" the dog gets when turning or roading in rough trerrain.

FDSB requires that the parents be DNA'ed prior to any litter being enrolled or any puppy registered. Some Llewellin breeders are under sanctions with FDSB and pups from those kennels can not be registered.

I have an old Remington 1100 Special Field in 12 gauge. I fitted it with a regular 1100 synthetic stock and modified the forarm to fit. I use it when I have to run a NASTRA brace in the rain.

A good used SKB can be found in that price range and you won't have to worry about hard triggers or warranty work. I am partial to the 2ooE in 20 gauge.
