Collar clinic does not repair G-3. Can't get parts from Garmin which stopped supporting that model. Collar was tight on dogs flank. Yes it was tested on my bare two fingers when it was acting up.

My Britt is 20 months old. Been in training since day one. Still chases released birds for 1/4 mile. Should I just release the pigeon when she gets near the trap and say nothing? She is still not steady to shot. How do you get dog to stop on flush? Seen Higgins magic brush pile video.

I am just learning myself. I think I could keep 100 easily with that much room. I built it for possible chukars in the future. I live in a sandy area. I will rake up heavy poop areas and add more sand.

Had dog at a NSTRA trial this weekend. Definitely not blinking birds. Back to the pen. Have the feed platform up to 30 inch high now. Bobs seem to enjoy flying. They just go back and forth from ground to the platform. Going to start raising platform 6 inch per day.

Costco sold tactical flashlights, LED, very bright. They have one mode that flashes rapidly. Shine that in a pigeons face at night and just pick them off the ledge. They do not even move. The lights were sold in a set of 3 for 15.00, great buy.

If you are talking about pointing dogs, I would attend a NSTRA trial. These trials have dogs of every breed represented. I went from GSP to a Brittanys at 50. They are easier to keep and travel with. First few were a little slower than my GSP"s. My new Brittany runs like an all age dog ( out of Peter Gun line) and I am 73. She keeps me young.
