My dog has run in three horseback trials and I do not have a horse. I got a wrangler horse and just gave it a go. Dive right in. I found folks to be very helpful and welcoming to me and some other newbies.

New Jersey--Teaneck-grew up in Bergenfield til 15 then Chatham( first hunts were in the Great Swamp and around Basking Ridge) Chatham.... funny, I am in New Providence. We always get our christmas tree at that nursery in Great Swamp. Unfortunatley they don't allow you to run dogs there these days.

Lucky guys! Bwjohn - how far are you from Pittsburg, NH? It is way up north, close to VT border, and there are tens of thousands of continguous forest lands there to hunt. You can pretty much pull of down any logging road and hunt until your hearts content.

Yes, thanks. She will be on them for three weeks. She had no symptoms so that is a good sign to begin with.

Only glitch was one hunt it was beeping and the message read "arriving at Ginger" whenever we were close to each other. (Like somehow it was tracking her). that hasn't happened since.

The needle biopsy was inconclusive, so they suggested wait a month and observe, and then do a regular biopsy. Well, about two days later they were gone! So who knows.... Perhaps she had a little bruise or thorn from hunting or something. But all is well, except the testing positive for Lyme part....

Frankly, there are reasons for that with a lot of cheap double guns. But in the case of Lanbers and Veronas in particular, that is just not the case.
