Try reading "Working Springers and Cockers" by Mike Smith (amazon.com).... I don't use DVD's, so can't help you there. Another suggestion would be to join your local bird dog club as usually they will help you out with some tips & pointers - it's been a big help for me....

Abby entered the crate by her self last night which was amazing. I went to get her a treat for doing so and when I got back she was out.
