Re: Does anyone know what this could be?
Migraines do not cause right sided numbness. TIA or a stroke will. Yes a TIA is a mini stroke, but they are usually indicators that a more serious stroke could be in the future. You may consider keeping an eye on your blood pressure as well as seeing your pcp.

Re: Mancave ideas
I have a desk with a gun vise that I use for cleaning guns in the man cave. A refrigerator is a must, although is worth nothing if it isn’t stocked. Also there’s an upland hunting magazine with in arms reach wherever you are sitting. The walls are covered with hunting pictures to provide conversatio...

Ct stocks pheasants. can you train those dogs to hunt close in a wooded setting? I know out west its more open, but I dont want to be running after my dog to keep up because they love to run big like some field trial bred dogs do. My fathers friend use to have brittanies (not well trained either) t...

Re: Dogs from Nitro kennels
There is plenty of info on Elhew if you just search the forum. I would advise if you want a opinion on a kennel and their dogs, you visit the kennel and their dogs so you can see the style of the dogs and build your own opinion on what you want in a dog.

I have a box fan mounted over the top of my dog houses. The dog houses are made of concrete block with open tops. The concrete block made it easy to hose and clean out. I just lay a rubber mat in it for padding. The dog houses are recessed into the wall of the barn. This causes a direct draft on the...

Great public school districts here, wouldn't dream of sending my boys to private schools. Welding, automototive, ag, woodshop, metal shop, computer science, the children are only limited by their upbringing which has FAR more to do with the system than the teachers or schools. Put a child that does...

Seen them, and they are nice dogs. I don't believe they have been around long enough to be called a breed. I think most are still first generation crosses , which means mutt or crossbreed. Owners seemed really pleased. I don't know if they hunt at all, but you would think that if both parents did, ...

Storms this week.
The storms out in western Kansas has got me slightly worried with the nesting season being ever so close. We had such a mild winter and so far a great spring. Hopefully the hail will stick to a minimum, so that we can get the bird population back up from the previous harsh dry summer.

After reading several posts about teaching a dog not to creep, the general consumption seems to be that as soon as the dog creeps, the bird should be launched. I gathered the theory of this is to teach the dog that if he moves to soon the bird will flush to early. I am having a hard time finding the...
