I feed my Pudelpointer Nutro. I had her on Pro Plan and she was doing good on it, but her coat lost it's shine and her skin was dry.
I put her on Nutro and her coat looks great now. I'm feeding her the large breed and suppliment with some high energy Nutro canned food when hunting her hard.

VR = Vibration Reduction Allows you to shoot a stop or two lower and still get clear pics. This is very helpful in lower light conditions when your shooting a lens wide open (aperture) at a very slow f stop. Camera bodies come and go...but good glass lasts a long time. The down fall with the D40 is ...

Pigeon feeding and other related questions....
Been searching on some info regarding feeding pigeons. I basically have some feeders that I fill up and they are good to go for a few days. I read a post that says to make sure the pigeons are "hungry" before you let them out to fly. How do you feed? Put the feeder out for an hr then take it out? Li...

My son (8yrs old) and I were at a field by the house training the dog. I had set some pigeons and was working up to the bird. Dog goes on point...son walks up and kicks bird up. Pigeons-when can the young birds be moved?
I recently build a new coop that I posted some pics up a couples weeks back. I have three young birds (just feathered/or finishing) in my old coop and want to move then and the breeding pairs to the new coop. I didn't want to move the lot too early and have the adults abandon the young. I believe th...

Good suggestions.....thank you! Brenda...a friend suggested a half-hitch on the dog, but I like the idea of the collar. Need help with getting dog steady
I have a Pudelpointer who is 1.5yr old. Hunted her last fall and by the end of the season she was starting to be steady to flush. I had worked her with pigeons and a launcher, but stopped doing so since she was starting to get wise to the game and we were getting on wild birds fairly frequent. She h...

I actually put a coat of white primer on the inside of the loft, but was thinking about getting some cheap vinyl sheet flooring and put that down. It cost me right around $300. I had the treated 2x6"s for the base, the stain for outside and paint for inside, plus the wire for the aviary. Under $300. I tried to keep it as cheap as possible, but still come out like I wanted it. The steel studs are the way to go. There is a group coming through Salt Lake offering snake avoidance training and I am thinking about signing up for it. They want $75 for the session. Any reason not to go ahead and do this? Limping-front right shoulder
About two weeks ago I noticed my Pudelpointer was limping. Not too bad, but enough to notice. She's a little over a year. training heel...should the dog sit when your standing still?
Starting to train "heel". My dog turned 1yr old last month. I have not taught her to "sit". Simple questions, but is this just personal preference or should I still stay away from tea...
