I was showing my Breed Champion Lab one time and before we could stop it, he was humping the female judge! She looked at me, smiled and said, "I think he likes me."
As to the Humping dog.......such sounds like he hasn't learn the word NO or what ever you use for NO. We use the word AAACCCCKKKK!!!

Re: Integrating E-collar on DC-40
I slid my E-Collar reciever on the DC-40 collar and ran the antenna over the top of the the E-collar reciever. Then I used two zip ties (using the collar buckle holes) to hold the antenna in place. Both units work just fine. Leaving Sunday to hunt chickens in Wyoming; which will be the long distance...

Your first stop should be early into the trip, about 30 minutes for a good potty stop. After that first stop the dogs should be ready to go for more hours than you. Re: Coyote Warning
A good full size dog can scale a 6 foot wall. They don't jump or leap over they sort of run up and over it. So it would not be a problem for a coyote.
I've seen coyotes jump or leap over stock fence with barbed wire top without touching and part of the fence.

Re: Foxtails?
The reason I asked is that when my GSP was 8 months old he snorted one up in Wyoming.
A couple of weeks later the side of his face was all swollen and needed surgury. I have a great vet and he got it out, but it cost me $450.
It's just so terrible when it happens and I don't know what to do.

Re: how much to feed a gsp
I really don't care what anyone else feeds their dogs. If your dogs do well on sweet corn and oats, it’s fine with me. In the real world all dogs require a different amount of food. The type of food will also be part of the equation. I've had Labs of the same size require different amounts. One did ...

26% protein and the first word in the ingredients starts with "Lam" or "Chicken" not “chicken meal” or “lam meal” etc.
Rice no corn.
Read the labels 99% of the stuff out there only has "meal" with no whole meat.

First of all you must measure each and every feeding, that is the only way to control a dogs weight. I don't see any problems with the kennel if it is big enough, warm, cool plenty of water etc. I would recommend a smooth concrete slab. The GPS puppy will need plenty of stuff to tear up.
