Is there at all a chance that the seman may have been switched? A mistake at the vets? If that is the case then DNA could help. It could show that maybe the wrong seman was used?????

Hey man I think you will be just fine with this dog. Guessing it is around 20lbs now it will be 30ish around a couple years old then. I have had dogs around that size that had not one bit of a problem retrieving anything!

Hunted from Atwood to Norton... Low bird numbers and very spotty. The birds that we shot were mature birds. Cover was not what it has been in the past either. Had fat dogs, now they are skinny!

Very good information!!!! Yikes. Bloodwork will not identify a seizure disorder (unless, I suppose, it's due to fighting off some other illness...). i use it on my vehicle garmin gps to help me find the areas not the astro. it is not an interactive program, it is simply an overlay download so you cant mark the actual WIHA area. What you can do is set a point of interest at the WIHA area for future reference. So I guess the answer is yes you can...

I am a first time Astro owner and I can say that having it to show me the way to the walk in areas is PRICELESS! Any GPS will do, mine happens to track the dog also... I tell ya PRICELESS!

I ave. about 18-20 in my 07 dodge 5.9 cummins/auto. I can get as high as 22ish if I drive no faster than 60mph ease into to exeleration. Towing the 2 horse slant I get no better than 15 or 16 mpg.

I The stories I have heard from some of the old time dogs I am not sure if the dogs today are better...I heard stories from Pointer people of Johnny Merrill showing up at their pointer trials and kicking their butts, and this was in the west..... :? I am to the opinion that the dogs of today are better than the dogs of yesterday...... I don't find myself looking all that far back, I think anything that is worth breeding would be better than the original foundation. I really do think todays dogs are much more athletic, more attractive to the eye...

The only time I really get concerned about a coon fight is if there is water. The coon will get the upper hand EVERYTIME! I am there most times to lend a helping hand also.
I know that some of my hunts have ended because of the coon fight, seems they then go lookin for the coon more than the bird!

This was the only piece of work I saw. After retreiving the bird to hand Cage bolts off and about 100yds up the hill spins in mid air and slams to a stop. I have used a beeper for probley the last 8-10 years... I like the Sportdog one most of all but have never noticed any ill effects on birds. I run it on the hawk scream. Point mode only also...
