I had a Lab who ripped one out about 14 years ago. I had the other one removed. It's so much easier on the dog to just remove them at 3 days of age.

One thing you may want to try feeding is either raw or a crockpot diet. This way YOU control everything that your dog eats and you won't be having those extra additives which could be causing him problems.
I've seen this used with success by several of my friends with their dogs.

So the dogs and the people hunt differently? Which type is FTing trying to imitate? Usually southern quail. That is where FTing started. If you take a look at how true "Southern" bird hunting is done you will find that it is very close to FT's. Mule wagons, handlers on horseback, Labs on the wagon ...

All dogs can speak, but not all trainers can hear. Amen to this!! So many claim that they are great trainers but they really can't hear/see what the dog is trying to tell them. One of the best trainers that I know is deaf but can "hear" what the dogs are telling him. Also beware of the trainers who...

My kennel name has a lot of different reasons behind it!
My last name is Cherry
Weimaraners are the color of stones.
Cherrystone clams are one of my FAVORITE foods to eat! I have a lot of happy memories eating them as a kid both cooked and raw. And we used to dig them ourselves in RI and MA.
