The "Hawkeye" starts this morning. They had not drawn yet when I left the grounds yesterday. Anyone know the running order?

I'm in Shellsburg getting ready to head over to the trial grounds. Rain stopped last night and it appears that we my skate by with little or no rain today.........but who knows. I will find out who placed in the OLGD yesterday.

Man, this is such terrible news. Sorry for your losses. That Nacardia is nasty, mainy because from what I hear.... it is an anarobic bacteria. The bacteria does not need air to grow, so it just spreads like a wild fire. Robbi & Keith, our sincere condolences on this terrible loss.

OLGD started this morning at 7:00a.m.
I think we have about 145-148 entries for the weekend. Hoping for good weather.Forecast is cool (50-58 degrees) There is a threat of some rain today, but only slight chance. The resy of the weekend should be dry.

What exactly occurs to change status of an event into a non-AF event? Is it a paperwork requirement issue, or something a club decides to change?

That's a good question Jerry.
I think I had 5 on him so with this that should put him at 8 points with both major wins under his collar already. One good weekend away, it's just a matter of when that weekend might occur
