I bought mine in 1997, has lasted this long. The fencer blew out during a lightning strike, they warrentied it. I use the stubborn dog collars they last a few years usually. I also had to replace the in ground wire after the hit, burned it all up.but how long can we expect the brand to last

Mowed 3.5 acres last night had a few on me. Dogs got bio'ed so they are OK. Hate to feel them crawling on me......gives me the creeps...maybe I need the bio? haha

Live trap one, leave it in trap, put a shock collar on dog, let dog "find" porky, hit him with everything the collar has. Repeat if nessasary.
Dad used to kill one and tie it to dogs collar. After a day or two dog wouldnt have anything to do with them. Not sure if this is the way in todays world...

Years ago I was doing a schutzhund thing with a dobie, had him sitting whenever someone came in with drugs :) got him entering a window, also hitting on humans on command, was outside with him. Went in to grab a tea and whamo he was gone. Had to tell the client he was gone and that sucked big time. ...

I still build my own, add a 1/4 in floor to the one there with a heat pad between for real cold nights. I make mine large enough for 2 dogs each. Works well for me.

I use bio spot I also spray a kennel dip mix on all trees and shrubs that are around. Dont get ticks or fleas this way.

I dont know what I would do, luckily I own Shorthairs and never had one wouldnt hunt.... sorry about your dog, re home it to a non hunting family and get a shorthair...Any of you shoot dogs that won't hunt or maybe not hunt well? If not what do you do with those dogs?

I always check with the dogs before I make any decision in my life...... Dogs are little angels to be loved and pampered..... Mine have their own 50 in HDTV tuned to AKC and other pet channels and they onle eat the finest cuts of meat...... hahahahahaha I need a life...... my 5 are outside locked in...

I expose the young pups to a live quail usually in a way it can run away, this leads to a chase. I also put the birds in a cage so the dogs cant get to them. Then after they are on birds I release one quail let dog run after it and shoot the bird far enough away the gun shot doesnt upset the dog. Se...

A semi on deer? how many deer we talking about? Usually one shot is all it takes. Saiga makes a good 308 and it can be had for 5 or 600 out the door around here. We run Dads ol dodge diesel over 400,000 miles towing a huge horse trailor with 7 horses in the thing. Up the rockies, to calif and back to ny and every race track in between.
