Yep, as long as there was even one mite, you have mange. They still treat it with mitaban and ivermectin (daily) and pyoben shampoo's. During the"off" season and when the pups 6 months old, there is always Dock Dogs to keep your Chessie busy! It's basically a working water retrieve and we have lots of Chessie's in the sport.

Twice a day (two small meals).I was told it was better for the dog especially deep chested or dogs prone to bloat. Of course nothing is proven or guaranteed but it is still something we do.

Actually, my dog is allergic to the fat as not all the protein molecules are separated during processing. I actually really liked Nutro and my animals did well on it for a while and then Elvis started having real bad ear infections. Then I checked the bag and they had started adding poultry fat to it, so we had to stop. I liked it because it was medium priced and I could find it locally.

Big Steve, That's ok, it's not on the Diamond website. They list it on its own site but is a Diamond product. They just advertise it under a different line. I can't feed it because I have a dog with allergies to poultry but I have friends that do feed it. This great food debate can go on forever but...

Out of all the foster dogs and the two males I own now only one has marked and that was corrected. Now I do own a female that will mark everything, so I don't think it is neccessarrily a male/female issue, its a canine issue.

Ok , question: Is the smell coming from the dog in general or particularly the ears or a small wound? The reason I ask is that a Pseudomonas Aruginosa infection can smell like corn chips or corn tortilla's. See, this is what you get from working in a lab. Start thinking of all sorts of things. Carla

We feed Wellness fish and potato and IVET. I have a dog that is seriously allergic to all poultry, most grains, and god know what else. He seems to be able to handle the fish and potato ok. The rest get the IVET.

Our doggie dooley didn't drain correctly due to the soil either and then there is the temperature requirements also. It's easier to just pick up and put it in a trash bag.
