Just got back from testing all weekend. Whew, my dogs all finished there titles. I know 2 were JH but my male finished SH so that is great. 6 out of 6 is not bad even if 4 were JH. Master Hunter here we come!! Tak, man I'm like you not into that show stuff. I tried to get the wife to do some, but I ...

I am not saying these were bad judges. If there is some 2 minute rule I broke it. My fault. If I knew some rule like that existed I would not have allowed him to go there. The judges did see the other dog retrieve the bird because when I question them they said, "Your dog did a beautiful job it is j...

Just returned from some hunt tests. My dog is going for his SH title (he needs 2 legs) and he is really doing MH work most the time, I just didn't test alot last year. So I am trying to finish SH so I can move on to MH. Here is the way I got screwed. My dog goes on point and the bracemates dog backs...

www.godaddy.com You can build a site pretty easy on here and have it hosted with them really cheap. I think I pay 40 dollars (maybe less) a year for hosting and domain name together. They have site building software on there site nothing spectacular but it is pretty easy to build one.

I have heard lots of bad effects from feeding to much protein/fat too early. Maybe someone else will post on this because I don't know the details. It can cause incorrect bone growth leading to hip displasia and other joint defects. That food you are going to feed may be made by daimond. I am not su...

Here is what I use all the time. I have been able to enter all AKC events with this no problems. Maybe some other events you couldn't, but I don't know. This would be the cheapest to shoot it takes 209 primers.

Your cousin, does he train pups? I have not seen a dog that locked up and did not move the first time on birds. They have to be on a checkcord and stopped. Just use a checkcord and bring the dog into a planted pigeon/quail. Then have someone wake the bird up so it is walking around. Then if the dog ...

The pigeons do sit on the back of the door but fly off into the pen when I open it. If they did fly out they would probably just trap into my flight pen that is right beside this one. It was pretty easy to build with 2 people. You could build it in a weekend. There would be extra time for perches, b...

Yes they do recall. I used hundreds of chukar a couple years ago and had good luck with them. I don't know about a pen style trap for them but I just used live traps around my pen. I wouldn't worry about it. The pedigree on that dog is good and he will like them naturally. If you did have a pup that wasn't interested there is things to do. I have seen pups not all that interested until about 1 year then come around. You can get pups real birdy by letting them catch clipped win...
