Rooste, it helps this time of year with poor senting conditions if you take the bird and swipe it around on the weeds. Just do like a 2 foot circle and let the bird hit the weeds then plant it.

Ok, one more question I have the accessory beepers. Now can I use this with the 70? In the manual for the accessory beeper it says something about you have to purchace it with the uplander "or what ever collar" to use it from the transmitter. Is this true?

I use the TBI bags also. I take the birds out back to the grounds in cat carriers and then put in the bag to set them in the field. I used to just carry the bird carrier around with me to plant birds but I set it down on a yellow-jacket bee hive one time and got the crap stung out of me.

I have never heard of such a thing but there is a big difference in size in the GSP. I could see how someone would think that is true even if it is not. I have seen a GSP that weighed 85lbs. and I have one that is 35lbs. so that is a big difference.

These guys are right it can be very different. If I was to buy a started dog I would have a very clear idea of what the breeder thinks stated is. Some breeders think a dog is started if they took it running in the feild a couple times.

I don't know about that dog but if it came out of CH/NFC ERICK VOM ENZSTRAND. Then it is a very good dual line. In most pedigree's you see this dog would be so far back you should look at what the parent did for a better guage.

Oh yes, I forgot on my post after you launch the bird stop that dog from running with a checkcord. You have to stop the chasing. I can't believe I forgot that. I don't ever let my dogs chase that is probably why I forgot it.

Sounds like too much pressure to me. Back off and see if it helps. I think your dog is pretty young if I remember. I think something happened and scared her while on the cord. Let her be a puppy there is lots of time for training later on.

You will need a loft for pigeons. You could train homers to return from way over 40 miles more like 300-500 miles. This is what you want. Birds man. I don't even teach whoa until after my dogs are steady. The birds will teach them to point, be steady, and very stylish. For me whoa is for reinforcment and help with backing training. Accually I don't even use whoa for STW&S. Yard training is a very small part of my training.
