Alcohol abuse causes disease in every major organ in the body and is physically and mentally addictive... That bout wraps up its status as a harmful drug. Like any substance including candy there is use and there's abuse. How many kids start by sneaking alcohol from parents or friends parents cabine...

And I've had my dogs hunted by yotes in ND and NE.as well as had two yotes circling a dozen pointers on stakeouts at night. The ranchers I stay with had one trying to break in the whelping shed with two litters and their mothers inside. Its not common but they are opportunistic if the chance arises....

PGC LOL....it happens when and if they get a chance which doesn't happen very often. The effectiveness of coyote hunting with decoy dogs proves that given the chance they will kill dogs. The fact that yotes do their best to not put themselves in a loosing situation as all wild predators do, prevents...

Other than that I'm just happy timing on walks ...

Horses get it and its fairly treatable in the cutaneous form, I had a friends lab that had the internal form and it killed the dog despite all efforts. The dog couldn't hold anything down and would throw up what looked like coffee grinds. I remember there being no real treatment for the internal for...

In future contacts you need to read the dog and make corrections before a fight starts...after the fact won't help. And the more it happens the more engrained it will become. Re: Whoa
If the dog thinks there is a possibility for another bird on the find they wont move their head. Don't force the style out of him. I agree with this, and sometimes the looking around is a sign of " I'm feeling pressure " precursor to tail letting down and more you don't want to get to. Might be tim...

Re: pup attention span
I second what Don says, he may seem immune to shots but when a bird gets up and more than one person starts banging away that could change for the worst. This is the point extreme care should be taken, make him right and you have the rest of his life to enjoy him. There are plenty of threads here on...

+1 ....somethings require legislation....some don't.
More gov control isn't needed here and I question where this bill came from. Sounds HSUS'ish. A beginning to an end.
