Re: Treats
A big thank you to byrdgirl ! My boys had a blast making the dogs their treats . The boys 8 and 11.5 did all the work well i turned the oven on and took the hot pans out. Re: Treats
I make most of my GSP's dog treats. I realize that not everyone has time for this but I find she loves them and besides I love to bake. I have made lots of different treats but I find sometimes that some of these recipes on the internet aren't proven and don't always come out. Anyhow here are some ...

I over analyze every thing and thats a BAD thing. So I have watched and read anything and every thing I can get my hands on . I don't know why it's just a bird dog and we are not hunt testing him but I don't want him to get out in the field and act like a jackass know what I mean.

Re: Car Sick Dog :(
Thanks for the tips!
Gunther has road from Nevada To Arizona then Arizona to New Mexico But it has been on flat interstates Both times he has gotten sick has been going up my drive way which is very long and you need 4 wheel drive to get up it. Wonder if it is the bouncing around that gets him ???

Re: New GSP Owner
Look for a GSP club around the area you live in. You can do this via the AKC website. Get in contact with the club and join or just ask where there is a place to train and buy birds. When you find where people are training you can usually find others who need an additional person for flushing / sho...

The best thing you could do for the dog is throw the wing away unless you.want him to sight point everything instead of pointing on scent. If you have a lot of wild quail... let him learn he will never he able to catch them so he does not want to Chase. Even if the wing has scent on it ? Lord help ...
