Josh I have used innertubes and they work great in the early season. But get a little dusting of snow on the ground and they are like ski's. Dogs can't get any traction. Nothing you can really do for toenails, pads just toughen them up. Best thing is buy more dogs to rotate throughout the week :wink:

Took a few scoundrels out into my Chukarland today, threw in the pup Angel and my old veteran dog Buddy Pictures aren't the best cause it's hard to catch your breath as your hiking to get to your dogs. Does anyone ever use flushers for Chukar I have seen guys hunt chukars with labs. They kill a few birds and every once in while do very good. You can be successful with any hunting dog but chukar country is best suited for bigger running pointing breeds. They can cover alot of country that will wea...

Chip ol buddy..Pick you up a Beretta and never look back. I keep pounding birds with my old Beretta and never have had a problem. I have even gotten real good at shooting it one handed, holding the e collar and bird launcher remotes in one hand and gun in the other.
