I said the same thing. 4 months later she had her own horse.

There are a ton of advantages to the second horse and I am sure you have heard them all. Best one is that I can ride and watch (or judge) all weekend long and have horse power to spare.

I used a buster cube for my first young vizsla. It was great entertainment for the dog until she decided that the harder she flipped it, the more fun it was.

It was kinda like giving a drum set to a 5 year old.

Kongs with milk bones stuffed in them were a quieter solution.

Yes, we are going to be there all weekend. I am judging in the horseback trial and running in both. I have a youngster entered in his first gun dog stake as well as a 4 year old.

I think Mary is judging some of the walking trial.

My horses are around my dogs from the moment they are old enough. I spent a lot of time on horseback in the yard with my puppy teaching him that the horse and I are a team. The older dogs around during this desensitizing is important because they already know how to exist around the horses. It works...
