Wild birds. However birds were far more plentiful back then.

Also more help was used as trainers were generally teams of 2 or 3 people.

With advancements in training techniques and training aids I dont know why you would look backwards.

Doesn't $1,500 for a pup seem a little steep? You can buy a very nice started Pointer or setter for that money. The type of people buying continentals is whats driving the price up. My first shorthair was $800 ($600 usd) now a guy would be hard pressed to find a well bred pup for less than $1000 us...

Neither. There are non mainstream brand cameras out there that are just as good if not better than both.

I have owned the Hero 4 Silver and my Eken H9R is just as good at 1/3 the price.

I shoot a ton of birds every year and the only time there is too much lead to bother is if my hunting partner and myself double shoot a bird. Shot up birds are not a problem otherwise I wouldn’t be using the shells.

There's a difference between catching a few birds and has learned he can catch birds. I had a dog that was good on wild birds but would not hold on chukar. He went rogue in a throw down derby stake, caught too many chukar and that was all she wrote.
