Re: Roading dog with pedal bike
I did with a leash till he chased a rabbit in front of me ... stood the bike up on the front tire, balanced precariously for about 1/2 s, and then went over -- while my wife was screaming. That is hard on an old fat guy! Dog just kept looking at me "WHAT?" I now just use an e-collar on non-busy times.

I bought a used Andis 2 speed. Works great but does get hot -- just spray it down with the cleaner/oil. I got it from a lady going out of the horse business. I have bought 3 more blades for it and a set of combs so that momma uses on me as well. I think I paid $80 and thought it was a good deal. The...

How does that line go? "I never lend out my gun, my dog, or my wife ... in that order." Patnership is about the same.

My two Britts are quite respectful and attentiive when I have the collars on them. It gives me the confidence of not losing them (chasing bunnies) and the beeper comes in handy too. I rarely have to use much stimulation. One tends to do it his way without the collar.

We picked up a "fully trained" (was not correct) Britt many years ago. Within a few days he had a seizure and I put a stop payment on the check. The dog had obviously been obused and I don't know if that was part of it. We went back to the kennel owner and he said it wasn't a big deal. He talked me ...
