I just thought it would be one less thing on their neck, but it is probably good insurance to have 2 collars anyway. If one comes off, I will either have ID tags or a beeper depending on which collar came off and either should help me find the dogs.

ID tags and E-collars?
Will attaching metal ID tags (name, number, rabies, etc...) directly to the e-collar effect the range of the e-collar? I was told at one time it would and have since attached them to a seperate collar and ran the dog with two instead of one.
Thanks,
Rut

What is everyone's favorite roading harness? Where did you get it? I will use mine primarily for roading from ATV, but chain dragging is possilbe.

To my knowledge, the DNR hasn't conducted a study like that here. I am curious as to whether or not they could do anything with the results though. If the raptors are federally protected and it was found that they were causing a decline in a bird that is only state protected, wouldn't the DNR have t...

I looked at that, but the problems I saw were that the dogs were not being imported and they aren't a breed that is eligible to be registered with AKC. They are purebred pups born in the US, registered with CKC because AKC doesn't recognize them as a breed yet. Is there anyway to enter them into AKC...

Registering for an AKC trial?
Is there a way to register for an AKC field trial with a dog that isn't recognized by the AKC but is registered with CKC? Could the dog be registered with American Field?
I know this isn't a standard question, just wondering if anyone has gone through this or knew of a way to handle it.

New pup following older dog around
I have a 7 month old GSP and a 7 year old GSP. They get along great and I have had no problems except when I take the two hunting together the young one spends half her time just following the bigger one around. When I first let them out of the truck the young one will actually "yip" as she tries to...

Pup likes to bury!
I have had and been around quite a few dogs in my life, but my newest puppy does something I have never seen before, she will bury everything I give her! Luckily she isn't very good at it and usually uses a pre dug "hole" and then just trys to cover it up.

Nice looking pair you got. TAKS dogs throw some great puppies looks and feild wise. I love how there is virtually no Ticking on the little girl.
