Re: Dynamite Ultimate Dog Food
I'm sure it's good, but probably over priced. You have mentioned Chow and Hills, both of which are inferior feeds. Have you tried any good feeds, or do you know what they are? There are many good ones, Diamond Premium, Loyall, Purina Performance, Black Gold , Nutrisource, etc. What about those?

Swith to a food with more fat which will allow you to feed less volume and still maintain energy etc. An All Age would be appropriate, but a different one.

Funny how that works, we had the whole kennel on Loyall and swithed to diamond with much better results :? :) I am guessing you've already used the website dealer locator Ranger, there are about 20 dealers in Mesa..... Which Loyall were you feeding and for how long? Also, which diamond did you swit...

Could be a staph, which can happen quickly. Straight peroxide 2xday and antibiotic creme between. Outside possibility could be a fungus which will require a different treatment.

One thing to try a couple times a day is straight old H2O2(hydrogen peroxide). Pour it right on. Some benedryl would help also. Dog food is MUCH more expensive here in Canada - .50/lb would never feed a real dog Steve. Nothing under a dollar/lb is much worth putting through a dog you care about. On another note, I never even look at the recommended amounts on the bag. Just feed the amount that keeps your dog doing well and at the proper weight. Nobody can tell you how much to feed....Only your dog can do that, so don't be concerned about what the bag says or the amount others are feeding. ...

When I was stationed at Ft. Rucker in the sixties, we used to call that area LA (Lower Alabama).
My advice is to learn to talk with a long-drawed out whiney voice, and spend a lot of time in the coffee shop with the good old boys. Maybe they will point you to some good hunting areas.
