I really like the looks of a GWP. Almost got one this last time, but stuck with the GSP since I had already had two.

Comparing equal Pointers and equal GSPs, I would say that the pointer may have a little more go. However, their social skills and wanting to please aren't as up to par as a GSP. What I'm trying to say is that a pointer hunts to find a bird for himself, a GSP hunts to find a bird for you.

Put a check cord on him and get in the back of the Truck yourself. Give him the "up" or "load" command and pull him into the back of the truck. Then give him a treat. Do this a time or two a day for a few days. He will get the idea. This worked for my GSP.

I used to run Walkers quite a bit when I was younger. We would coon hunt all night on the weekends. There are no more opportunities for them to get hurt at night than during the day.

Thanks for getting back with me. I don't want you to have to track down an O ring just for a couple of collars, but I do think that there will be a demand for your collars with a center ring. That's the only kind of collar that I run. Let me know if you end up ordering O rings and making those type ...
