The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation has just released a detailed comparisons report. Since 2006, the hunting and angling consumer spending increased by 14 billion dollars. Also worth noting is the differences in what the 2006 and 2013 reports use to highlight consumer spending: 2006 report: 5.3...

The reason there's a charge is that they released a huge number of birds on the property (over 8,000 in 2011) which is 6 or 7 times more then they release on any other property http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/hunt/documents/PheasantStocking.pdf and realize that they allow up to 300 hunters at a time so it'...

Re: Circling the bird, do you know how to train for it?
You don't get accidental flushes because the dog is not following up on the bird. When the dog leaves in another direction the bird is not inclined to flush because it has evaded the predator. I tend to agree with this and saw a bit of it last year. Both of my V's were working a section of field up...

Unless you can see both hunting parents extensively in the field, you have to take the breeders word for how good they are. Just like looking at titles on a pedigree, there is more to this equation than just a title. Look at each dog as an individual. Its life history, it's owner(s) history, where and how it achieved the titles, etc. As a big umbrella statement the FC carries more water as by earning the FC that dog has...
