I was thinking the same thing. Cabelas did have a bunch of boxes of primers. I was also thinking of cutting down 2 20 gauge shot shells and just keep replacing the primers? any one ever try this?

.22 blanks(crimps)
I cant find crimps anywhere I have been to the local outdoor stores and to cabelas. I have some blanks for my concrete nailer but they are to long to go into the cylinder. The cylinder has an internal ring and if I filed or drilled it out I could get a blank in there but not sure if I will end up hu...

LCS quail launcher Question
How long after you activate the receiver on the launcher will it shut off on its own? I have planted it with pigeons but came back in less than 20 min with the dog and now I want to set it out a little further and work him a little longer but don't want it to shut down before I get there.
Thanks
Thanks

At that age it seems at times they don't have ears but as long as its a safe place. I always leave a CC on them as an insurance policy. Keep working on your recall and have fun they don't stay little forever.

I would think about getting a launcher. Gun Dog Supply has a few reasonably priced ones I know they seem pricy but well worth the money and you can set up your own wild bird situations.

try to find a local NAVHDA and join them they will have training days, Find a good modern training program and follow it to the "T", be consistent in your training and have patients. if you can start a pigeon loft with some young birds or a couple pair of breeders it will save you a ton of money and...
