Are you guys going?? If so, let me know where you'll be or when your dog's running.
I'm surprised at the lack of responses here......I thought more folks would be attending.

IMO, 10 to 12 birds would be optimal.
I currently have 5 birds but I've had up to 20 birds in that coop (short-term) without any issues.

Agreed!! I've been using Eezox for 20+ years and love the stuff. It's not easy to find locally but it is available through Midway...... Eezox is the best I've ever used for rust prevention on my blued guns and is also amazing for keeping semi-autos (shotguns/pistols/ARs) running smooth in all temps ...

Hi Sharon, She's conditioned to the gun. I'll be hunting pheasants along next week and will only shoot birds she points. This weekend I'm planning on picking up a few pheasants to plant for my GSP (she's 20 months now). My dog points well and will let me kick around in the grass but isn't steady to ...

1st time on pheasants
I'm going to hopefully get my GSP into pheasants for the 1st time next week and I was kicking around picking up a few this weekend and putting her on them in a controlled setting to ensure she doesn't get spooked the 1st time one jumps up and cackles in her face.
Any input here would be appreciated!!

I'm planning on hunting some public areas for pheasants and they pretty much all require non-toxic shot. I'll be hunting with my GSP and will only be taking shots at pointed birds.
