Re: My dog urinating too much
Sounds like your dog has a UTI. She needs to be on antibiotics to clear the infection. You really should make an attempt to get her into the vet ASAP. Left untreated, her situation could progressively become worse. Also, it really is not fair to your dog to put off treatment for 4 more days.

If that is truly the case, I would be more inclined to think it is because more people take their dogs to the vets than in the past. We have a lot of people who have been raised to think of their dogs as children and not as a working animal that was bred to aid us in our livelihood. JMO Ezzy Ezzy- ...

ditto the pepper spray. A friend and I hike on land owned by Cornell. My dog's littermate who belongs to a friend did not come into heat until she was 14m old. Sometimes it depends on the condition of the dog. She was very fit and really thin which can delay their cycle.

I give my dogs knuckle(joint) bones. They last about 4 feedings and tarter is completely gone from their teeth.
Max's teeth had tarter on the carnassials and he is only 2 yrs while Chloe who is 12 yrs had less tarter. i tried the knuckles and I am very happy with the results.

Yes, you would be able to see abnormal blood glucose levels in blood work. Could also be liver or kidney disease but most likely if he had underlying problems, he would have abnormal blood values. Bacteria would be present in gum disease and also tarter but your vet said his mouth looks fine. Even s...

The usual cause of this is periodontal disease. Does your dog have a lot of tarter on his teeth? Possible gum disease? Conditions such as diabetes also cause bad breath but most likely, the source is bacteria in his mouth.

I do blood work on my old girl (12 yrs old) every year. She always has a few values slightly out of range and she does not have any problems. Your dogs values were not that off. You also have no baseline blood work to compare it to so maybe that is what his RBC and HCT count always is. Not all dogs,...
