Ok, post here what each would look for in a pup for it's future possibilities as an all age dog canidate! (Maybe style, nose, stamina, Speed, bird finding ability) Is it different than what you want for a hunter?

Do a search for gamebird breeders, or gamebird breeders association.
although they may not sell as few as you will need. Check with any local perserves to see if they would sell you a few.

You might consider getting a trap and catching local pigeons. Should be some places on the base that has pigeons hanging around.
