Would training your bird dog to rabbit hunt in the winter kind of ruin him as a bird dog? Especially for hunt tests and field trials, you wouldn't want them pointing at rabbits and not birds.

This is my first bird dog as well and in all honestly, I would be pretty happy with myself and dog just getting the JH title.
