Stihl FS-55 Living on 11 acres of timber, I use the brush cutter blade most. Changes out easily and will cut through some pretty good size saplings, if you have the need. Zero issues in almost 10 years of use.

I believe Howie and Tammy Hill own Sharp Shooters NW Mr. Motion and Gunslinger's NW Heartbreaker--the bottom half of that pedigree. Tammy goes by Ms. Cage on here, I think, so I'd just ask them about their dogs. I've met them and they seem to be straight shooters. :D http://www.northwaters-gsps.com/

I really don't like posting training advice, cause I'm just a grasshoppa myself. So please take my opinion for just that. He was definitely too attentive in the clip and obviously not ranging at all, looking up at the handler all the time, possibly because of the bird bag. If that's the case, I'd lo...

I only use the collar on the neck. I put it on snug up high and let it work down a bit. My husband likes to crank 'em down and I swear my dog's tongue turns a light shade of purple. Kind of kidding on that, but basically I don't let him collar my dog. I do like others, with snug and it tends to sli...

I posted this recent UC Davis study in the health section, not too long ago. Please have a look at the results the study found. Also note that even though the beginning states "Neuter", they are using that as an inclusive term for both sexes, to include spaying as well. http://news.ucdavis.edu/searc...

I started with pet food bowls on a shelf, but ended up with a lot of poop around the bowls, and in the shelving unit. Congrats Karen, way to get it done. Terry, you can't show a dog with a capped tooth. This surprised me, and seems unfortunate to disqualify for a restorative, but I did find AKCs rule on it. Thanks for the tips. Yes, I was disappointed with the recall funnel, when I saw it's shape. The premade pens I saw them selling, with roughly made wire funnels, had the end nearly touching the roof of the cage. I just went out to try to reform the funnel, but it's made well, and didn't budge. I'm pr...

Since Spring birds are hard to find, I am hoping to be able to reuse some quail, and I put this recall pen together. A johnny house really wasn't an option. My lab did this years ago, and the copraphagia pills did work. FOR-BID is one brand name, but there are others.
