I have a heavy duty mesh vinyl cover, that a friend that works at a tarp fabrication shop made for me. I like it for shade and so I don't have to worry about dogs climbing out.

I really don't call shooting at a neighbors dog at age 13, little boy antics. To me, it's disturbing behavior. I'll never understand how folks turn a kid loose with a BB gun either, as if it's a toy. They're capable of some pretty serious injuries.

I don't have the time stat in front of me, but we were out 4 to 4.5 hours on Saturday, and my husband read off 22 miles on the one that was wearing the Garmin. Cover varied from heavy knotweed and sedge in marshy spots, to tall grass prairie, and to some easier shorter stuff.
